I have an extra special treat for you guys. All my designs will be available giclee (machine) printed, starting Aug 1. But the reason I’m doing a kickstarter is so I can hire a REAL ukyio-e woodblock artisan IN TOKYO to make a hand-carved, hand-printed version. Only the Mario Kart design will be printed this way. The printer’s name is David Bull. He’s a Brit who moved to Japan 30 years ago, to learn this trade. Now he’s one of the top carvers in Japan! He’s been all over Japanese TV, and has a whole workshop of Japanese pupils. David just started carving our design. Check it out!

皆さん、今日特別の発表有ります！　今までのデザイんは皆クレー印刷で、８月１日に発売します。　その上、本物の木版画も売ります！　東京に住むデイビッド・ブルさんと言う職人が作ります。　ブルさんは元々イギリス人で、３０年前東京に引っ越して、木版画を習いました。現在彼は日本の最高の一人です。何回もNHKに出て、多くの日本人に先輩になっています。結局すべてのデザインを木版画に出来たらいいけど、とりあえずマリオカートで始めます。　ビデオを見て下さい！
